Many a times it happens that somebody appears online but when you start a conversation with him, you do not get reply. You get angry and curse that person but what wud a Geek do.... Well you can refer him to read this post so that whenever he has to go away, he sets up an auto reply option.

    I use Digsby for this purpose. When you are on busy mode it will send your status message. The best part here is that I login to my multiple account using it.
