CHM.. What is it..?

I've seen a lot of people not getting chm extension. CHM means Compiled HtMl Help file, it generally opens in windows only. Few days back I shared a java book in CHM format on my personal blog here . Now, I am the one who is always on move.., so I needed some handheld chm reader. A few digging up landed me to HugeMatrix CHM reader, this solved my problem of reading CHM files in my Nokia Symbian based mobile. Now I am doing java on the go! :)

Hide Your Facebook Updates From Family

Most of people using Facebook have problems that status updates are visible to all. However, what you want  is ,to update your status and share this with your friends except a few people or family. Well here is the trick to hide your Facebook updates from your family. Here is how you can do this, just follow these steps- Step 1 Go to this address http://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/lists Step 2 Click on create list. Name your list whatever you want.   Step 3 Click on Add Friends, add the members from which you want to hide your status updates. Step 4 Now go back to Facebook homepage and select Custom from the list. Type the name of the list you just created, in the section "Hide this from". Click on save changes and update your status.. Enjoy :)

Looks like we are on Wordpress now!

For the past many days I've been busy working around with layout of the blog. Some of you must have got that layout is changed tremendously, well that's true. We have now moved Chill Geeks to a self hosted Wordpress blog. After a lot of experimentation with Blogger's XML layout systems, now I am going to try my hands on a php & MySQL wordpress content managment system. Well if you don't know what is wordpress here is a brief- What is Wordpress? Wordpress is a content management system, which is extensively used in Blogging. It is free and open source publishing platform, with a system for themes, plugins, etc. Why we moved to Wordpress? Blogging using wordpress provides better control over flexibility, the way you want to share your ideas, plus it is easy to use. But, in the end.., We wanted to try something new.., So here we are.. Now on Wordpress blog hosted on HostGator Server. Apart from this, we were also working on a complete makeover of our Facebook fan page...
