I do not like error reporting service of Windows Vista, which shows for send error report , closing the program and debugging the program. Well, its very obvious that when error has come up in any program, then we have no other choice to close it. I’ve tried submitting the error reports thousand times, but nothing happened, and it still shows that errors. As, I am not a programmer so, debugging any program is not my job. The only alternative left to me is disabling the useless error reporting window. If you are also upset with this feature of windows vista, and want to disable it, just follow these instructions- Open Run dialog box by pressing Windows Key + R Type and open wercon.exe Click Change Settings on left pane. It happens with me, when I use my Laptop in my hostel, my web browsing habits gets exposed. All of my saved passwords are reveled. So, to come up with this problem I started using Profile Password add-on for my Firefox web browser. This add-on protects the profile with a password. So, if password is entered by a user only then that Firefox Profile will open up. I am addicted to web surfing, and its often that I need to take some notes. So, till now I generally used Google Notebook or Vista Sidebar gadget for taking my online notes. Windows Vista provides a built in application Reliability and Performance Monitor which can be used to track your system’s performance and reliability. This utility helped me to know about which application is using my network resources. So, I found this built in utility very useful. To check Reliability and some key indicators of performance of your Windows Vista operating system, just open run dialog box by pressing Windows Key + R and then type perfmon.msc and click ok . After opening perfmon.msc, you’ll see four graphs showing info about CPU, Hard disk, Memory and Network usage. I’ve recently bought  new laptop , and created partitions on its hard disk. Now, I’ve got Wi-Fi modem installed in my home. So, to prevent from my neighbours or some outsiders sharing connection, I need to secure it… I am using BSNL broadband connection, in PPPOE mode, which makes the connection more unsecure, as password is saved inside modem itself. So, I’ve found a way to secure my Wireless connection using WEP security key. Well, as I’ve recently bought new laptop with 500 GB hard disk. So, first thing that came to my mind is managing my important data, which can be done by creating partitions. Partitioning comes with many advantages, like- Disk Partitioning can be used to group one type of data together; like music, movies, soft wares, downloads, documents, etc. In case of virus attacks, there are less chances of data getting infected if they are in different partition. In case of data recovery requirement, the whole C drive is formatted. I do not use Recycle Bin at all, I use to delete files permanently by using shortcut Shift + Delete. So, Recycle Bin is just a kind of Desktop mess to me… If you are also the one who do not use Recycle bin and want to clear it out, the just follow the following steps to remove Recycle bin.
